Not Yet Named Wine Co is still holding out as a democracy in these uncertain times; our members vote on every major winemaking decision, from vineyard picks to blends to labels. Each vintage is made collaboratively with a different winemaker every six months from all across the world and each bottle tells the story of democratic winemaking in action.
Our Pick Up Parties are where it all comes together, members collect their wines, guests join the community, and everyone enjoys an evening of tasting and most importantly having fun.
For Edition #7 we partnered with rising South African star, Dayton Charles and Vintage #3 collaborator, Darcie Kent Vineyards, to craft two unique expressions of Cabernet Franc; one fermented under a submerged cap and the other with punchdowns.
The vineyard, grapes, and winemaker are the same, the only difference is the cap management. How often do you get the chance to taste wines that are identical except for this? On the night, you’ll taste both and cast your vote: sub-cap or punchdowns?
